I bought the bronco in '01. Purchase condition was pretty good considering it was 29 years old and spent it's life in Michigan and Wisconsin. (road salt is tough on things)The bronc had a mildly massaged 302,(headers,4bbl,bored slightly),and a C-4 that was real eratic. It also had a 3.5" susp lift and 33's.   Since time of purchase I've been busy changing and modifying things. I scrapped the sagging 3.5" lift for a 9" Skyjacker susp lift, which is actually a bit much for the short wheel base.(driveshaft angles you know) I also added a 3" body lift to give me some more room when I swapped in the NP 435/205 combo. A Center Force clutch puts the power in motion. I upgraded the ignition to a "pointless" system which is great, and upgraded the worn 4bbl for a Holley Truck Avenger carb.  The other drivetrain mods include 4.56 gears f/r,a full spool in the rear and a Detroit True Trac up front. I've also upgraded to disc brakes up front and rear discs are definately in the near future. The 33's are long gone,35's were there for a short time, and it's now rolling on 38.5 M/T Baja Claws on 15x12 M/T Classic II's. The 'wish list', I'm sure, will be never ending but that's the fun part.
