    This is one sweet truck. I saw it at the Summer Nationals yesterday in Mass. Really really nice. I didn't see her to tell her how nice it was. I have an 82 with 36" tires and 6 inches of lift but the 79 is my first love. NICE JOB!

    Thanks Carole..I'm surprised you did not see her..She hardly left it....She actually got her permit in May and has been driving it a little,,I felt it was too busy in the park though....Hope to see you next year.

    ARE YOU SURE IT'S NOT FULL-TIME 4WD? THEY ARE REALLY EASY TO POP INTO 2WD..TRY PUTTING IT IN NEUTRAL(TRANSMISSION) AND THEN PUT TRANSFER CASE UP TO 2WD

    Robert, My husband is a heavy equipment mechanic..the paint is JLG (boom and scissor lifts) orange..Single stage paint, no clear. Durable as hell..
