Just purchased this truck in Jan. 2013, after hitting a deer in my 1995 Bronco. My 95 was done, and now I have to start over on the 96. The 96 is in excellent condition, and some of the parts from the 95 are being transferred over to the 96.
For the most part however, I have decided to buy new for the 96, and build another.
To date all I have done to the 96 is:
Performance 3 row radiator-w- heavy Duty 160 degree T-Stat.
B&M Shift Kit
On the list to be done:
Lift kit, headers, rear differential fluid swap and performance cover. New synthetic fluid and while in there put in new wheel bearings.
Tuffy Console, with stereo or CB. New stereo, speakers, re-upholster interior, maybe Rhino Line the floor's and get rid of the carpet. MSD ignition, and eventually a mild motor build. Front grill guard, winch, rims and rubber, window tint, and who knows what else in between.
