I started with a 1982 frame and drive train. Added a 6in. suspension lift with skyjacker soft ride rear leafs. Rebuilt the 351 Windsor as a 408 with all performance parts, edlbrock intake, comp cam, forged pistons. I refinished the frame and replaced all the brake, fuel and tranny cooler line with stainless steel. The body on the 82 was shot so I picked up a 1987 body with a blown 5.0L. The new body isn’t perfect. It needs a lot of work but it is much better then the old one… I mounted the new body and finished all the plumbing and electrical. Now all that’s left is body work, reinstall interior and change gears in dif’s to better suit the 36” Irok’s
