4 inch suspension, 3 inch body lift, 39.5 inch tires....Daughter now has license ..Had it since she was 12, saved from the crusher..Restored with Dad in the garage..Soon to be redone with new motor and new paint/body work. It's her baby...
Comments: Great looking ride. Glad to see parents and kids take a interest in things. Its the bond of love and respect of a family.Keep the great love going.Congratulations on your trophy and many more
Comments: Thanks..She's almost 15 now and can't wait to drive it..Only girl in automotive in high school..All of our kids love working on the toys in the garage..
Comments: This is one sweet truck. I saw it at the Summer Nationals yesterday in Mass. Really really nice. I didn't see her to tell her how nice it was. I have an 82 with 36" tires and 6 inches of lift but the 79 is my first love. NICE JOB!
Comments: Thanks Carole..I'm surprised you did not see her..She hardly left it....She actually got her permit in May and has been driving it a little,,I felt it was too busy in the park though....Hope to see you next year.
Comments: THANKS ROBERT..GREAT HOBBY TO DO WITH KIDS..BUILDING A 69 MUSTANG FOR HER NOW(IN ADDITION TO DOO) AND BUILDING A 78 BRONCO FOR HER LITTLE SISTER..LITTLE BROTHER IS DOING AN OLD FORD TOWTRUCK!! KEEP THEM HOME AND BUSY..
Comments: ARE YOU SURE IT'S NOT FULL-TIME 4WD? THEY ARE REALLY EASY TO POP INTO 2WD..TRY PUTTING IT IN NEUTRAL(TRANSMISSION) AND THEN PUT TRANSFER CASE UP TO 2WD
Comments: Robert, My husband is a heavy equipment mechanic..the paint is JLG (boom and scissor lifts) orange..Single stage paint, no clear. Durable as hell..
