Comments: you wont get 44s on it with out a 6" lift and doing a body lift. tou will also want to put 4.11:1 gears both front and rear. the steering box wont handle the 44s for long with out cracking the frame by the lower mounting bolt. so a hydro ram steering set up is recommended. use the c6 auto or a np435 trans. also use the np205 transfer case split twin stick. it will make your life easy in a mud hole. not sure what motor that is but a 460 is good or a mildly built 400. try and stay away from the 390. just a few ideas from experience with these trucks and building mud rigs
