This is my bronco II project. It has a 4 inch suspension lift and 1 inch body. It has 31 inch mickey thompson mtz's and 15 inch ultra alloys on it. I ran headers to the Y-pipe then 3 inch exhaust straight back and added a Flowmaster Super 10 that makes it sounds pretty deep for a 6 cylinder. We had this truck stripped down to the frame and every inch of the body was sanded and painted. We went as far as getting new bolts for everything including every little trinket part re-painted. First, I rebuilt the motor and tranny from top to bottom then stripped the frame down and put a nice coat of undercoat on with a spray gun. Next came the body. We made a lift so the body was on its side to clean up the bottom of the floor and used speed liner with a little bit of the regatta blue paint so the underneath is still the same color as the truck. The doors, hood, fenders, and grille are all NOS. Nothing on this truck is aftermarket. Took alot of time and money to find these parts. I even found brand new plastic mid panels for the interior. The bronco II and Ford emblems are all new old stock including the mirrors and door panels. I would definately argue that it's the cleanest Bronco II in the area.
Comments: I have an '84 exactly like it - even the color (but not the lifts). I just got it from my Great Grandma. Trying to figure how I'm going to set her up. I'll be watching for your updates to see what you came up with.
