I'm helping a friend sell her beautiful Bronco. I helped her find it last year, but with a baby on the way, the Bronco has to go! In helping her find the perfect Bronco, reliability was key. This truck had been lovingly restored by the previous owner with everything (engine, trans, wiring, steering components, brakes, paint, seats and top) new. The truck runs very strong, engine keeps cool with a big aluminum radiator even in NYC summer traffic! It tracks straight and has great brakes. When she got it, we swapped out the springs and lift blocks with progressive coils and leafs all around to balance out the ride height and improve the highway and around town manners. We also swapped out the BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain tires with Yokohama Geolanders that provide a smooth highway ride and great sand traction. On the exterior, we added the step-bars and tough polycarbonate fender flares. Finally, in the interior we added a Kenwood stereo with iPod Integration. The truck runs perfectly and turned heads all summer. Now it's time to pass the torch for someone else to enjoy this great classic Bronco!
Body and Exterior
Rust free body and frame, with beautiful warm dark gray metallic paint and black stripes in the theme of the famous Eleanor gone in 60 seconds Mustang. Paint is excellent quality, shines and even feels great. Rhinolined interior. 6-point family-style roll cage, fresh bestop top and hardtop painted to match body. Aluminum rims with fresh Yohohama Geolander A/T-S 33x12.5x15 tires.
Drivetrain
Fresh 351 with only a few thousand miles since installed. Edlebrock Carb and low profile intake. Optima redtop battery, Griffin Aluminum radiator. Rebuilt Automatic transmission and transfer case with floor shifter. Engine starts right up and runs strong with great power! Trans shifts smooth. Hubs were serviced and all 4WD functions work perfectly. Upgraded to power disk brakes up front and rear drums have been serviced.
Suspension and Steering
Bronco Graveyard 3 1/2" lift progressive rate lift springs (no lift blocks!), Rancho shocks, drop pitman arm, Poly bushings including caster-correcting C bushings, Tom's Bronco parts Heim Joint-Style Steering Linkage. Geolander tires provide smooth highway ride and great sand traction for the beach. The Heim Joint-Style steering linkage is a major upgrade and seriously tightens up the front end. No play whatsoever. Truck tracks straight, turns and stops perfectly!
Interior
Black Vinyl sport seats up front with racing harnesses and original bench in the rear. New Stereo w/ipod connectivity, new compact heater box. Entire interior is professionally rhino-lined, very clean and tough finish!
Electrics
Everything works! Completely re-done wiring with modern blade fuses... no 40-yr old electrical gremlins to worry about!
Accessories
Step Bars, Heavy Duty front and rear bumpers with reese hitch and swing out tire mount. High-lift Jack and spare included.
