I bought this bronco when i was 16 years old for $1000.00. It sat under a tree in my buddies back yard for 5 years and his dad decided to sell it to me. When i got it the thing looked like it was just pulled out of the swamp. When i got it home the first thing i did was clean it up and get it running. I worked all winter on it doing body work on it and putting a lift and tires on it as well. I drove it for a year with the stock 302 and decided that i needed something bigger. So a buddie had a built 302 in his ranger that he didnt run anymore, so i gave him 500.00 for it and a C-4 tranny with a stahl and a shift kit in it. I then put that in and also put new axles under it. It had 3.50 highway gears in it so i boghut another bronco that had 4.10 gears and a half-cab for 300.00. the axles are now sitting under it and the half-cab will be on it by next summer. This is one of the funnest things that i have ever decided to do. I pretty much started with nothing and ended with a pretty nice bronco. The only body work it needed was there were 4 dents that i pulled and filled. For sitting that long there was very little rust and it was only surface rust. I want to get a winch for it and Pre-Runner bumpers. When i put the half-cab on, i will then put a full cage in it and racing seats with 5-points. It will have a 347ci Stroker soon. Have to have money to build it though!!!
