3 inch body lift, 35x12.5 tires, rear disc brake conversion. Removed the brake lines on the truck and installed the rear line/s up to the proportioning valve. Removed the proportioning valve and master cylinder and brake booster. Apparently the truck had cruise control given details on the booster discovered after it was removed. Always figured that the truck was a combo of multiple years due to the in cab fuel tank. However, now am aware that 1977 had an option for dual tanks including an aft tank as well as an in-cab tank. This truck has had the aft tank completely removed. I mean completely. Will have to find a filler neck as it appears nobody makes one. Patience.... lots of other parts I'd like to get going on replacing.
02/19/11 - Installed the rear end, new leaf springs, shocks, and attached to brake line in frame. Also, installed a freshly balanced drive shaft with new u-joints and a new center support bearing.
