The nickle plating is strictly an industrial plating that coats both the inside and outside of the header. Although it is not a "show" quality finish, it will last longer than paint, chrome, or ceramic and retards rust very well. Discoloration (bluing or yellowing) of finish is normal.
1994 FORD F250 TRUCK WITH 460 V8 & AUTO OD TRANS
During L&L's Carb testing procedure in California, they tested the "Before Headers" and "After Headers" Rear Wheel Horsepower on a chassis dyno. The vehicle was a 1994 Ford F250 truck equipped with a 460 v8 and automatic OD transmission. All emission equipment including air injection was connected and operating properly.
